Serhii and Svieta live in Chornobyl.  Serhiy is a truck-driver at a radioactive waste utilization plant. Svieta works at a radioactive decontamination laundry. Their work and their lives are dictated by an unchangeable rhythm with clockwork precision. But what sets this mechanism in a day by day motion?

About the director:

Born in Kyiv in 1974. Graduated from the Filmmaking Department of the Kyiv National Karpenko-Kary Theater, Cinema and Television University. He worked at film studios in Kyiv (National Dovzhenko Fature Film Studio) and St. Petersburg (Lenfilm). He also wrote scripts for TV series. His short films “Diagnosis” and “Deafness” were nominated for the “Golden Bear” at the Berlin IFF.
