About the director:

Maryna Vroda was born on February 22, 1982, in Kyiv. In 2007, she graduated from Karpenko Karyy Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinematography and Television, with a specialization in feature films direction. She attended Mykhaylo Illenko’s and Valeriy Syvak’s workshops. After graduation, she worked with Sergey Loznitsa. Her graduation short THE OATH was shown on the 37th Molodist International Film Festival in the section of student films. “Cross-country” became the owner of the Golden Palm in Cannes.
