Siblings Karin (Anjorka Strechel) and Simon (Luk Pfaff) are visiting their parents and their little sister Clara (Mia Kasalo). That evening, other relatives will be joining them for dinner. A family get together in a Berlin flat: preparations, conversations in the kitchen, an evening meal.This sequence of seemingly unspectacular family scenes in a Berlin flat creates a wondrous world and an exciting choreography of the everyday.

About the director:
Ramon Zürcher was born in 1982, Aarberg, Switzerland. From 2002 to 2005, he attended Bern University of the Arts (HKB), completing an art degree with a focus on video. In 2005, he received the Kiefer Hablitzel Award for Visual Arts for his video work. Since 2006, he has been studying directing at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin. "The Strange Little Cat” (Das merkwürdige Kätzchen, 2013) is his first feature length flm; it celebrated its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival.
