“The Sound of Belgium” explores the rich but untold story of Belgian dance music. From the dance halls with Decap organs to the golden days of Popcorn. From EBM and New Beat to Belgian House and Techno.  A chronicle of unique popular music, “The Sound of Belgium” goes in search of the spirit of a nation and the people that danced to it.

About the director:

Jozef Deville (1979, Halle) studied Audiovisual Art at the RITS in Brussels. He works as an independent film and documentary maker and regularly helps the socio-artistic centre Beeldenstorm vzw in the Brussels district of Kuregem with their audiovisual projects.
