A bunch of friends make videos about paranormal phenomena. But one of their jobs goes wrong when they accept a stranger’s offer to shoot in his house. As the house begins to reveal more and more terrible secrets, events gain momentum. At first everything that happens seems like a bad joke. But quickly the friends understand that evil exists and is getting stronger and closer every minute. Petrified, they begin to fight for their lives. About the director:
Peter Bebjak was born in 1970 in Partizánske, Slovakia. He studied acting and film directing at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (Slovakia). As an actor, Peter Bebjak has worked with several Slovak theatres and television and acted in feature films. Since 1995 he has directed several award-winning short films: “Miraculus” (1997), “Štefan” (1998), “Darkroom” (2007), “Voices” (2010). Since 2005 Peter Bebjak has worked as a producer and TV director. His debut full-length film “Apricot Island” (Marhuľový ostrov, 2011) also received a few national and international awards.“Evil” is Peter Bebjak‘s second feature.
