Anna (Noomi Rapace) and her eight year old son Anders (Vetle Qvenild Werring) are under the witness protection program following a difficult relationship with Anders’ violent father. They move into a large apartment complex. Nervous and stressed, Anna becomes overprotective of her son and even buys a babycall to keep track of him. Soon, strange noises from other apartments appear on the monitor, and Anna overhears what might be the murder of a child. Meanwhile, Anders’ mysterious new friend starts visiting at odd hours, claiming that he has keys for all the doors in the building... Anna begins to worry that she and Anders are not quite alone. Does this new friend know anything about the murder? Is Anna’s son still in danger? The latest film by norvegian filmmaker Pål Sletaune is an intense psichological thriller, exploring the deepest corners of human psyche. The film offers an outstanding performance from Noomi Rapace, who is known for her portrayal of Lisbeth Salander in “The Girl with the Dragon Tattooˮ (2009) and other film adaptions of Stieg Larsson‘s famous trilogy.

About the director:
Director and screenwriter Pål Sletaune (born 1960 in Oslo, Norway) studied literature, photography and art history at the University of Oslo. He directed his first short film in 1992. He debuted as a feature film director in 1997 with the highly acclaimed “Junk Mailˮ (Budbringeren), which was screened at the the prestigious Critics Week at the Cannes International Film Festival (France) and won the first prize. In 1998 “Varietyˮ magazine pronounced him one of the worlds 10 most promising directors. P. Sletaune has directed four feature films and several short films. All his feature films have been chosen for major film festivals worldwide. P. Sletaune is also a well known director of commercials with several international awards, including Gold and Silver Lions in Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity (France).
