A silent animated “documentary” about the life and work of the extraordinary 20th century writer Franz Kafka (1883–1924). A dark and shadowy film based on the writer’s diaries.

1992 – Bronze Dragon and Don Quixote Award at the Krakow Film Festival, Poland.
1992 – Media Prize at the Ottawa International Animation Festival, Canada.
1992 – Grand Prize in Zagreb World Festival of Animated Films, Croatia.
1992 – Association of Polish Filmmakers Award for the Best 1990–1991 animation film.
1992 – 1st place in the 15–30 minutes film category at the 4th Animated Film Festival in Hiroshima.
1992 – Special Mention at the Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film.
1993 – 3rd Prize for the most original film at the Odense Film Festival, Denmark.
