Sense of Architecture

Sense of Architecture
Director: Heinz Emigholz

Germany, Austria, 2008, 168min., documentary
The documentary “Sense of architecture” is an epic reflection on social reality in relation to contemporary architecture.
With almost indescribably concentrated visual density, Heinz Emigholz analyses 42 architectural structures in and from Stiria (A) and arranges them in the form of a tour through modern civilized life...
The documentary is an independent format within the comprehensive project “Sense of architecture” which consists of an exhibition which premiered at the Venice Biennial in 2008, an artist book and the film.
