An Education

An Education
Director: Lone Scherfig

UK, USA, 2009, 95min., drama
“An Education” is based on a script by the famous author Nick Hornby. Vividly, the script puts the finger on the “strömmingar” in the British 60’s society. The director Lone Scherfig uses the full capacity of Hornby’s script. Scherfig has also found a new star in Carey Mulligan. Her performance has been celebrated among audiences and critics. In “An Education“, we may have seen first glimpses of Mulligan on her way to becoming a celebrated actress. Mulligan resembles a young Audrey Hepburn and that can only be described as fantastic.
