the revolutionary spark from the Arab world quickly found its way to silver screens. International film festivals and esteemed film magazines found a new interest
in national cinemas of Arab countries, while the wonders of modern technology enabled us
to experience the revolutionary vibrations through media coverage
whose imagery sometimes looked too similar to the sequences from movies and videogames.
The November edition of Mas y Mas brought you several thought-provoking articles on Arab Spring
and its cinematic reflections. You can read about:

- review of “Tahrir 2011”, a documentary filmed at the epicenter of revolution
- “Al-Karnak”, an infamous film that marked a generation of Egyptians
